Join us to honor Jesse and celebrate this year's scholarship winner!
Come and celebrate the 13th and final Jesse Pittman Fund Memorial Scholarship 5K Run/Walk. The race will again be held in Recreation Grove Park in Willits, CA and the course runs underneath a portion of the Hwy 101 overpass that is dedicated to Jesse. Honor Jesse's sacrifice, support your local students, and get some exercise too!
The Jesse Pittman Fund offers a college scholarship for Mendocino County high school students in honor of Jesse Pittman, who died serving in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011.
This is our final fundraising event, but the scholarship program is planned to continue. Another college scholarship will be awarded to this year's recipient. Come show your support and congratulate this rising star!
The course is all on flat, paved roads. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome. Strollers too!
The race begins at 9:00am sharp, so please arrive at least 30 minutes early to check in and warm up.
